Co-designed a tree-covered pedestrian bridge on the Canada-USA border. The bridge connects two parts of a community separated by a wall of trucks that await crossing into the states. Construction completed 2005.
I developed drawings and graphics, and directed the creation of 3D models & animations (Maya, 3dsMAX, AutoCAD). We created these renderings to collaborate with engineers and to communicate with the local community. I acted as a liason between artists, engineers, landscape architects and 3D team. Our team also advised on small-scale wind and solar, naturalized landscaping, and lower-impact construction materials.
Team: Noel Harding, Dawn Danby, Rod Strickland, Paul Waggoner. In collaboration with Stantec Consulting (Engineering). Client: City of Windsor, Ontario.
